Born and raised in Kuala Lumpur; Carlos Khu is a creative individual that is constantly reinventing the ideology of self expression through his visual work as a fashion photographer during the day & fully transforming at night into his enigmatic drag alter-ego; Kumela Kumslut. Seen by many as a high-fashion vixen that exudes femininity and sexual empowerment through her electrifying stage persona and theatrical antics. Having being influenced and inspired by Lady Gaga, New York City queer nightlife culture and the post-Warhol-Michael Alig Club Kid theatricality; Kumslut takes the following elements and implements it into her own craft of performance art aesthetic, captivating the audience with her diverse display of talent and her allure of music, fashion & art. Since her debut in 2016, Kumslut has grown to achieve accolades within the local scene, specifically for being featured on 'StreethingTV', the '#INDIVIDUALISME' collective by Stail.my, walking for Malaysian fashion label, 'Behati' and as of recently, was featured on Season 2 of the 'Kunyit Squared' podcast. After participating and winning first place at the 2017 'Havana Pride Lipsync' contest, Kumslut has since gone on to participate in other local events such as 'Berlin Is Burning', 'Everybody Nose' and is now a current active member and performer at the longest running queer party in KL, 'Rainbow Rojak'.

Identifying as a non-binary, Saintraja adopted an alter ego after being inspired seeing Lady Gaga as Joe Calderone. Kitty Von Phierce is to be described as a punk eccentric with a touch of a glamor. The name Kitty was inspired by a mischievous character from Glee and Saintraja’s fear of cats— taking charge of his fear and becoming it. Von simply means “from” hence the name becoming Kitty from the Phierce family. Dabbling in the performance of drag since 2013, Kitty is well known as the fierce performer with her always on point dance ability, tightest tuck and her incredible hair flips with no wig flying off her head record. Kitty Von Phierce is your drag queen to look for.
Miss Boom. She’s not the average elegant queen, neither is she over the top. She draws inspiration from the 90s and early 2000’s. She emits more of a popstar feel and boy does she love showing skin. But it’s not the sex that sells, it’s her vivacious Venusian energy. And if she’s feeling dark enough, she shows off her Lilith side once in a while too. She’s a witch, and can be the spell or the hex; that’s for you to decide. Her shows are dance heavy, and she can pull out the pipes when needed too! She enjoys turning out looks but it’s really it all comes down to the feisty footwork, and the show(woman)ship. Miss Boom, is one of the manifestations of her Divine Feminine.
Cyst chill, it’s Just Acne Scar. She pops up every now and then; for a good time, not for a long time.
Growing up I struggled with low self-confidence. This all came from being told that I had to suppress who I was from a very young age. My skin journey has taught me makeup, and in that it taught me to open up and accept myself, it helped me with my financial problems and it taught me confidence. My acne and my scars did all that, not makeup.
Just Acne Scar is an embodiment, a personification of my confidence. I want to siphon all that I have learned from my experience i gained from my hardships in life into her and show the people who might need it, that it ain’t that serious. I want to help people open up, start accepting themselves and build confidence. Yes, life is difficult but the glass could be half full, the choice is in your hands so stop picking at it. Take a deep breath and squeeze out all that negativity, slab some benzoyl peroxide and strut away, pop that hip and sip on that tea Queen-style.
Lady Jeanvieve is the manifestation of my feminine side, the pure version of me in a form of art. She began taking form when I discovered Dungeons & Dragons, a high elf witch with a sense of style and furious vengeance, she took out her foes with her magic and sharp rapier, serving looks on every encounter.
Then I discovered the art of “Drag”, an art form that I’ve never thought I’d be interested in. Dysphoria has been one of the things that I’ve struggled with my whole life, but with drag I can express myself more than ever, seeing Lady Jeanvieve in the mirror for the first time is the greatest moment of my existence, to be in her shoes, no pun intended, is truly an empowering yet humbling experience. She is me and I her, and together we’ve grown and slayed the runway and hopefully the world.
